“Excellent weekend”
Reviewed 27 July 2014 via mobile

We had a lovely weekend staying at Ardlair. Great room with a fantastic view of the Loch. Room was spotlessly clean and really comfortable. The little extra touches made a lovely stay. Will definitely stay here again.

We stayed for one night on our way to the Orkney ferry, but would happily return. Our room was beautifully furnished, with lots of nice individual touches. The bathroom was across thee hall, but not shared, and like everything else was immaculate. The view from the window was, to use that overused adjective for once appropriately, stunning. Our hostess was charming and welcoming. It was just a pity that because of the new baby, breakfast was not available, but we fully sympathized and had been warned in advance - so there's another reason to come back!

This gorgeous B&B on the hill overlooking Loch Broom is amazing. As there is no breakfast at the moment (due to the recent birth of their child) I can't comment on the food but the house, bed and view are perfect. Ullapool is a short walk down the hill (or a longer scenic one if you prefer). Lovely stay and highly recommended!

We stayed at Ardlair in 2011 and it was a wonderful stay. After having stayed at many B&Bs in Scotland before and after 2011 I remember Ardclair as an outstanding accommodation and I would finally like to show my gratitude by writing this recommendation. Everything was perfect: Rooms, friendliness, cleanliness, location, breakfast, views, price. Full marks and the highest praise!

My wife and I visited during the Loopalu festival. Room furbished to an extremely high standard, friendly hostess, excellent home cooked breakfast and one of the best views in Scotland.

Perfect - Thank you

Three of us stayed in the Ardlair for three nights in early October, and it was beautifully clean, comfortable, cozy, affordable, and the breakfasts were both delicious and filling enough to keep you full (even through a day of hiking) until dinner time. Ayesha was such a gracious hostess--welcoming, friendly, and full of good ideas for where to spend an afternoon or two. In addition to being gracious, she was by no means overbearing. It is an absolutely perfect place to stay--all three of us thought so! Made for the perfect little (much-needed) holiday.

Located with a superb view of Loch Broom and only a few minutes from Ullapool by car this B&B is superbly appointed. Breakfast was delicious and there was plenty of useful local advice on what to visit around the local area. Ayesha is a welcoming and friendly host who exemplifies the advantages of this kind of accommodation. This B&B deserves all of the praise it receives in reviews.
