A Motel (Chalet type rooms) Too far to walk out of town. The annual beer festival brings afficionados from far & wide. Food cooked by the Proprietor or a single Chef & is good & fresh. Not had experience of staying but might do so as festival runs for several days.

Previously, for some years we really enjoyed the fabulous seafood at the Morefield.

Sadly, a long awaited return this week was a bitter disappointment. No lobsters, and the only langoustines were shelled and deep fried in a batter. Little different from Scampi at an inflated price. Dreaming of the lovely lobster and lightly grilled shell- on langoustines of previous years it was all a bitter disappointment. We shall not return.

We come and eat here whenever we are in Ullapool and in around 8 visits over the last 15 years have never yet been disappointed. We ate there tonight - great haggis (they serve Cockburns, definitely the best haggis!) and lovely fresh scampi. We've always been in the busy season before, so it was nice to be able to get in without needing to book. Chatting to Bev, the friendly owner and one of her staff we discovered that they can easily cater for special diets such as gluten or dairy free as everything is freshly prepared. You must try it!

Great value for money, big portions. Good honest pub grub meets seafood. Super friendly staff. Lovely local beer.

We have visited this restaurant every year for the past 10 years at least. Never been disappointed and always eat here at least twice during our weeks holiday. Seafood is excellent as are the more traditional dishes. I love when smoked haddock is on the menu! The queenies with black pudding are to die for. In fact I can't find fault with the place at all!
