We stayed here for one night on our way down to Oban. We were welcomed by the owner who made us tea with some homemade shortbread. We sat out the back garden which look onto the loch, what a wonderful view. Our room was spotless and spacious, we had the family room which had a big bathroom with shower and bath. breakfast the next day was great. A good variety, fresh fruit, yogarts, cereal as well as the usual cooked breakfast. Good quality products, food served hot and quickly. Can't really fault this place. Will be returning.

We stayed for two nights during our recent tour of the Western Highlands. Mrs Macdonald gave us a lovely warm welcome, even took our soaking wet coats to dry. Our room was excellent, large with a huge bathroom and gorgeous views over the loch. The lounge is lovely and comfortable and we were easily tempted to sit down in there and relax (and watch the cricket...) Breakfast was served in a beautiful conservatory at the back, with the same view of the loch and opening out onto a lovely garden; the cooked breakfasts were excellent and there was a huge range of items on the buffet, even warm croissants as well as cereals, a gorgeous great bowl of freshly prepared fruit salad, yoghurts etc. Couldn't fault anything, and we'll definitely be back. Ullapool and the surrounding areas alone are stunning enough, but Mrs Macdonald's high standards and friendly welcome made the visit even more special for us. Plenty of parking spaces too which is a bonus.

We felt very welcomed to this beautiful, well-located B&B. A private parking lot was easily accessible and secure. The hostess was very friendly and organized. The room was comfortable with lovely views into the garden and Loch beyond. The location was quiet. Breakfast was efficient and delicious. Would definitely go again.

We stayed for 3 nights the room was spotlessly clean with beautiful views of the Loch both from the room and the lounge / Dining room.

The breakfast was excellent with really nice service from Kaylie and Christine...... The owner is very friendly and obviously knowledgeable of the surrounding area.

Secure parking is provided. There is a nice walk to the town along the shore and also an easy and quick (15 mins) walk along the road.

Ullapool has lots of good places to eat and drink, the area is a great base for walking and enjoying unspoilt areas of Scotland.

I would be surprised if we don't visit again.........we will definitely recommend Ullapool and Dromnan.

Recently spent 4 nights at this excellent B&B. Very good sized family room although we were allocated a small double room at the front of the house for the first night. This was probably due to booking difficulties but it was too small for a couple in my view and I would not have been happy to be there for more than 1 night. Beautiful views and a lovely large garden to sit in. Could have benefited from the offer of tea and coffee etc. if time was spent in the garden. One of the best breakfasts I've ever had in a B&B.

Room Tip: Rooms at the back have magnificent views. Room at the front of the hotel too small for a couple othe...

Great location with a private path down to the beach and a short walk into town. The room was great and very quiet. Breakfast was just fine. We would definitely return here. The guest lounge was one of the best I've seen.

this B&B has a magnificent view on the loch. It is clean and tidy. The breakfast is welll presented and is refined. We really liked the dishes and linen. Only bad point: the bathroom is too small. But we might come back.
