“Great spot for lunch”
Reviewed 22 June 2014

We arrived in time for an early lunch. It was a little awkward to order inside and then come back out to our table on the terrace, if only because all of the tables had menus on them. But the food was great and the service was very friendly.

“Evening meal”
Reviewed 17 June 2014

We tried to get into the Arch Inn but the place was full, so wandered down to the Seaforth and managed to get a table there. Ok, this is not a fine dining experience, and some people might wonder why you pay for your food first, but as the location is right at the end of the jetty where the boats come in, I completely understand why they operate this policy. We had haggis and seafood soup to start, which were adquate, although the soup lacked a little flavour. Followed these with Fish and Chips and the platter of langoustines, accompanied by the fries and Aioli. Fab! The service was good and we didn't have to wait too long for either course, so a very efficient service. Would recommend this place.

“Interesting menu, good choice of drinks”
Reviewed 16 June 2014

Very well cooked meal, interesting choice of specials on offer. Had nicely cooked smoked haddock which arrived promptly and polite service. Decent choice of drinks and plenty of non standard pub options. Nice terrace which can be covered so you can sit outside even in iffy weather. Would definitely go back

“Solid, but Nothing Stands Out”
Reviewed 14 June 2014 via mobile

The food was good. The portions were on the smaller side (kids meals). The service was good, but we will not remember the place in a week. Nothing really stood out, but you will not regret eating here either. This is just a solid family restaurant. Our fully of five had three kids meals (pizza@5.95, fish and chips @5.95 and chicken gillets@5.95 plus a soup of the day @3.50 and two starters (crab claws@6.95 and two soup taster@2.95 for a total of 36.85. The kids meals were small portions, but they came with a scoop of ice cream.

“What can you say...”
Reviewed 12 June 2014

...about fish and chips. Good portion of chips, generous size fish, crisp, tasty batter. All the more enjoyable being able to sit outside and eat with your fingers. Top it off with an ice cream cone and a flake.
