Ideal location and cottage was very well equipped with all you could need whilst on holiday. The wood burning stove was excellent and kept us really cosy during this winter visit. Could have easily stayed here permanently. Would definitely book again when visiting Ullapool.
Very well-equipped, clean cottage, with bright, spacious living area right in the centre of Ullapool with everything within walking distance. We were very comfortable and cosy, and hope to be back again next year. Would thoroughly recommend!
We enjoyed our stay, the house contained all you could need need. There are lovely touches, such as Highland Stoneware, lovely pictures and books to read. We didn't need to use the log burner, but it it would have provided a comfortable focus in cold weather.
It is central for walking round Ullapool. I would recommend a walk up Ullapool Hill for lovely views.
Not a complaint, just a suggestion that a folder of tourist info would be useful. There were some leaflets and maps and we added to them after a visit to the tourist information centre, which is nearby.
the accomodation was in walking distance to the harbour, shops and restaurant. the house was superb.
We had a wonderful week in this perfectly equipped cottage. Local shops and restaurants are near within a short walk. We will book this cottage again for sure.
Easy to find just off the main road through Ullapool. Spacious, comfortable and very well equipped. About 8 place settings of Ullapool pottery including teapot, jugs and casserole dishes etc. Washer, dryer and microwave all in good condition. Easy to use cooker and large amounts of spare cupboard space. Nice big dining table with 6 chairs and comfortable leather sofas. The whole house is bright and airy with Highland Pottery plaques on the wall and other pictures. Bedrooms spacious, carpeted and with bedside tables and decent reading lamps (Highland Pottery ones).Bathroom spacious with an excellent separate shower cubicle. Log burner (only needed it once) was ready laid, easy to light and gave plenty of heat. WiFi was an added bonus as we thought the house did not have it. Location - the town and Tesco are a short walk. Do have a look at the bookshop - it is excellent. Be prepared for lots of driving Gairloch, Durness and Inverness are all about 60 miles away ut it is a good central location for the NW Highlands and exploring the great geology.
All told our best 9by some margin) holiday house in our more than 30 years experience!
