Home Farm Bed & Breakfast

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Home Farm b&b. Both the owners are very welcoming and had excellent suggestions for our trip. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom is immaculate, with a beautiful farm view. They did a wonderful job with their garden and home. We took a morning walk down the long driveway, which was very nice. The breakfast is OUTSTANDING!!!! We will certainly go back, hopefully soon! :) Sue and Stuart you are right, "be careful what you wish for", when asking for typical 'Scottish weather'! Our stay was everything we would have hoped for!

We had a very pleasant stay at Home Farm. The room was well appointed and spacious. Breakfast was good, we had a full scottish breakfast but other options were available such as smoked haddock. I was impressed that there was a sitting room for guests and that guests were free to use the conservatory as well, so often in bed and breakfasts you are confined to the bed room. It was quite expensive but I think you get what you pay for. Although we didn't take advantage of the opportunity to have an evening meal or packed lunch, I feel sure the cooking would be of a good standard. Sue and Stuart were pleasant and ameanable. I would certainly recommend them and will stay again if we are in the area.

A friend and I recently stayed at and used Home Farm as our base for a week whilst fishing for salmon on the river Conon. Our stay was very pleasant having shared a very comfortable room and enjoyed excellent hospitality and good food. The whole B&B is extremely welly presented and appointed with good quality furnishings often so sadly lacking in other B&B's

As mentioned in other reviews, both Sue and Stuart are excellent hosts and extremely knowledgeable about the local area and further beyond. Due to late arrival back at Home Farm each evening , we only booked and ate one evening meal however as with the breakfast the food was of good quality, tasty and importantly hot.

I have no hesitation in recommending Home Farm as a base for a relaxing stay and touring the highlands.

I selected Home Farm as its location was close to the Black Isle show ground for a short trip with my wife in August 2013. Easily found on the edge of Muir of Ord with ample parking and lovely gardens. Sue & Stuart were the most amiable and friendly hosts we have encountered and delivered service second to none. Our bedroom, as indeed the rest of the house was spotlessly clean and equipped with a most comfortable bed, which we were most grateful for after a very tiring Saturday. The food was local, plentiful and very tasty. This is an establishment that we firmly intend to visit again and one I have no hesitation in recommending.

When a B & B establishment stays top of the ratings for so long, and continues to win so many awards, it must be for sound reasons, and so it proves. I have come here for several years and I've never failed to be impressed. There is a standard of customer care, and a generosity of spirit, that make themselves apparent in lots of ways and in so many details. Not exactly cheap, but you get what you pay for!

I stayed here 3 years ago by myself and was so enchanted that I was determined to return with my wife. I was not disappointed. Would certainly recommend booking an evening meal as Sue is a superb cook but remember to leave some room for the equally excellent breakfast.
Sue and Stuart are a mine of information about places to visit and walks both near and far and if you are interested in bird watching Stuart will tell you the best places to go. You can certainly start in the garden which is a feeding station for many species of unusual birds.
