All of the previous comments are accurate - it's a purpose-built extension which is spotlessly clean and well furnished. Linda and Dougie are lovely hosts. The breakfasts are just fine. It is off the beaten track, so a car is necessary. We are a couple but we stayed for 3 nights in the family room as that was all that was available. This meant we had a patio and a fantastic view of the fields and distant mountains to the west, and on the 3rd night in particular, we had the most wonderful sunset. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: The family room has the best view.

Thank you for leaving such an amazing review, it's really appreciated. We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay with us at Carndaisy House. The family suite is a lovely spacious room, with own patio doors out to a terrace where you can enjoy the great views and those wonderful sunsets. I appreciate the comments that you found your room spotless, we do have a very high standard as everyone should expect from a 4 star B &B. Please come visit us soon.......look out for the "winter" special offers. Linda

It was a pleasure to stay at this wonderful B & B in a modern room with a spotlessly clean bathroom. We had our own access and we could drive up to the door and unload - a bonus when travelling for weeks with big suitcases. The lovely little touches were appreciated!

We were delighted to receive such a glowing review, thank you. I believe you stayed in the triple family room, it has patio doors that give you much more privacy and an allocated parking spot, as you say handy for those cases that seem to get heavier every day!! Or indeed convenient if you have young children.
I love it when guests comment on how clean they find their rooms, it's important to us that all our guests are confident in our ability to provide a clean and comfortable accommodation.
Glad you like the little extras, a little fresh home-baking is appreciated by all of our guest.....indeed I do believe their are recipes all over the world. Thanks again. Linda

If coming to this area you will not go wrong staying here - Very Highly Recommended.

The owners really make you welcome with small things like leaving cakes out to go with the tea/Coffee that can be made either in the kitchen or own room.

What a lovely review, thank you. Dougie and I really enjoying running Carndaisy House, we have the opportunity to interact with people from all over the world and we are very aware we are part of "our guests holiday experience" so we do aim to be as professional and helpful as we possibly can. I love to bake and it's a delight to try out new recipes on our guests, returning guests often speak of the baking being a highlight .........indeed the occasional email suggests a repeat of a particular favourite!! Thank you for Highly recommending Carndaisy, it's really appreciated. Linda

We spend a week to the Carndaisy House with our 2 kids. It was our first B&B experience and we enjoyed it very well. It is well located, well-equiped and comfortable. The Breakfast was very good. Kids really enjoyed the swing and trampoline. Dougie and Linda did the necessary to make our stay as perfect as possible. Thanks to them. We definitely recommend it.

We - my wife, daughter and I - stayed at Carndaisy House for 2 nights during our 18-day road trip through England, Scotland and Wales.
We had originally booked for 1 night, but decided to change our itinerary to stay a 2nd night because we really liked the place.
The spacious bedrooms are in an extension of the house, designed and built for the purpose of a B&B. The bedrooms open out into the breakfast area, which has an adjourning glass-walled lounge/patio looking out onto green fields and mountains in the distance. In the morning, we could see sheep from the neighbour's farm grazing just beyond the fence through the french windows in our bedroom.
We liked the fact that the rooms are on the ground floor, which makes moving luggage in and out much easier (compared to B&Bs housed in quaint listed buildings without elevators).
There is also has a washer/dryer (available at a fee) which we found very helpful.
Our hosts Linda and Dougie are very friendly and always ready with sightseeing tips.
Tip: Plan to arrive before sunset on your 1st day if you're unfamiliar with the area, because it is easy to miss the place on an unlit, unnamed road in the dark. But once you know where it is, it's not a problem finding it again. You can visit their website (CarnDaisyHouse) for more information and photos.
