We stayed for 5 nights with our campervan at the start of our holiday. The site is well placed for exploring the whole of Harris and further afield. The 3 pitches are well spaced and private and the views amazing. Tony is the perfect host, meeting and greeting and, if you are lucky, giving you some wonderful home produced goodies.
I would definitely recommend this site.

My husband and I have just returned from a 6 week tour of Scotland in our caravan and the jewel in the crown was undoubtedly the week we stayed at Flodabay Farm. Our pitch was the top one of only 3 on the site, with incredible views over the Minch and reaching as far as Glen Coe on a clear day. We sat and watched golden eagles and seals to the accompaniment of cuckoos, just perfect. Tony could not have been more accommodating and his gift of homemade goose burgers, oakcakes and smoked salmon was very welcome. We would highly recommend this site to anyone visiting Harris............just stunning!

This is a magical place with views across to Skye. We spent 3 nights here in our Motorhome and loved it. Tony is a superb host and with his providing us with oatcakes, fish and goose burgers we were most content. The beauty of the place is that there are only 3 sites, it is quiet and there are good walks. It is an easy drive to StClement\s church and to Scalpay.

Such a fantastic location. It was so quiet -the only sounds were the birds. Tony was very welcoming so much so that we extended our stay by two nights. Harris is a beautiful island not at all what we imagined and we will definitely be back. The drive along the Golden Road is not to be missed. We spotted otters, dolphins and seals. On the way back to Stornaway, we saw a golden eagle and a sea eagle - what a great end to an already memorable stay.

We were welcomed but Tony at the bottom of his very steep driveway which could be daunting for some. Fear not if Tony says you can do it he will be right, just take his instructions and go for it as your stay will be fantastic. Practice your golf drive ( fun only) take binoculars as there are sea and golden eagles as well as otters and seals. We received a very warm welcome and were given home made oatcakes, burgers and fresh eggs. We has no problems but I know if we had Tony would have gone the extra mile to help. Peace and quiet and really very private we could have been the only people for miles. If you like the sound of this review and love nature and the outdoors this is a must for you. All other Beauty spots on Harris are within easy reach too.
