If you haven't visited here before then when you first set eyes on these beaches they will blow you away. You just don't expect what greets you. You will think you are in some tropical paradise.
You won't be disappointed.

Simply one of the best white sand remote beaches in Europe. Free parking and only a short walk alongside the large dunes takes you to superb views of Scottish mountains, white sand and clear green blue Atlantic Ocean. We visited in May and were the only people on the beach - totally amazing place :-)

The white beach and turquoise sea is a real treat and a trademark of this beautiful island. Watched the Gannets diving out to sea. A tip if you like stunning beaches: Go up the west coast of Harris to Huisinis! You also pass a fabulous waterfall (salmon leap) on the way. Well worth the drive!

This beach is a must-see, it really is stunning to walk along, to see all the gorgeous shells and to admire the turquoise sea and the views. We loved it and will definitely return !

There's a reason I had heard of Luskentyre prior to my trip. It's stunning, even on a slightly overcast day. Take a road off to the right if driving from Tarbert or left if approaching from Leverburgh. Sign is in Gaelic (Losgantir) so beware you don't miss it. Car park and toilets at the end of the road and short walk to the beach.
