“OUR HOME FROM HOME”
Reviewed 12 November 2012

We have been staying at this wonderful retreat for the past 9-10 years and intened to continue to do so. The accomadation is supereb,so too is the sea views, the beach the manager, his wife and staff, who are all very helpfull. We have stayed in a few of the lodges, but consider one in paticular as home! The site is so peacefull, if you are looking for a relaxing peacefull holiday, with a clean beach, a good pub and like walks with seaviews and wildlife,ie birds....Then this is the place for you.

Room Tip: All are good quality lodges and vans

We stayed in Cliffhanger Lodge 3, located on the edge of the cliff (!) with stunning views from the decked area across the sea and onto the beach. The lodge itself was fantastic, exceptionally well equipped, high standard of fittings and the unexpected bonus of an en suite to the main bedroom. The manager of the site was very helpful, and Tresaith itself is a tiny but charming village.
We travelled with our 2 year old and 6 month old, and had no problems with the lodge, and they both loved the beach.
Spotted dolphins on a trip to Newquay, and seals at Cardigan Island.

This small caravan park it a little treasure. Most, if not all the accomodation have sea views and the caravan we stayed in was immaculate. The staff were friendly and helpful. This is a low key park so don't confuse it with Haven. There is no facilities which makes it such a quiet and special place.
The beach is a short walk away down a steep hill either by steps or road and there is a great pub called The Ship Inn (see review) by the beach.
Will be staying again!!

We have stayed in waterfall lodge 2&4 and it has always been a most chilled break away each year we have been, Gwalia falls is a secret haven with a fantastic pub close by with a fab view of tresaith bay. (the freshly cooked garlic butter prawns are addictive!)

The service from the staff at gwalia falls has always been so helpful and friendly.

we basically pack up all our bits nd bobs ( remember your towels) condiments/ingriedients for cooking with and relaxxxxx. its like heaven relaxing in the modern lodges, enjoying the fresh sea air and knowin the pub is a stones throw away :))

We call gwalia falls our special place and will return year after year to recharge our batteries from our hectic busy work lives x xxx

Room Tip: anywhere in gwalia falls you wnt be disappointed

We stayed at Waterfall Lodge 2. Fantastic accomodation as previously reviewed, did not dissapoint in any way. Wonderful setting, beautiful views. Lovely quiet and serene site. Tresaith beach is 245 steps away( my daughter counted!!) stunning beach very family friendly, clean and safe. Tide goes out and you have another two beaches on eitherside to use also. Waterfall is stunning. Runs down side of Gwalia Falls site and empties onto beach. Rockpools for kids to play in. You can rent wetsuits at the beach shop, buy drinks, pastries, scrummy icecreams, swimwear and locally made souveniers lovely staff. Ship Inn is great value for money and has a great menu. Had a beautiful meal at an Italian Restaurant a few miles away. Fantastic farm shop at top off road and Spar and Tesco a short drive away. Wonderfull walks along coastal path easy to make with children especially to Aberporth. Just be aware roads are steep in this area.Excellent holiday highly recommended.

We stayed in one of the Cascade caravans set just back from the cliffs. Excellent standard of accomodation, very helpful and friendly owners, and the views were astounding. Perfect position to explore that part of the coast. Great pub a few minutes walk at the beach, and we even saw dolphins jumping whilst having a drink on the pub veranda. Lovely site, quiet and small, perfect place to relax.

We stayed in waterfall lodge 3, at the back of the park but still with sea views. Very big and spacious lodge and was better than the pictures we saw. The park is still being developed, but if your looking for a quiet location, relaxing break, this is the place. Good food from village pub by the beach (about 5 mins walk). Good coastal walks as well without having to drive anywhere. No facilities on site, but the lodges are very well equipped. The nearest big shop is tesco in cardigan. The website is accurate and great pictures of accommodation, the owners very friendly and live close to the park if you need them. Overall, would definitely go back without any hesitation.
