We are a family of 6, 2 adults and 4 children and stayed in the ground floor Beachview appartment in August 2012. We had a fantastic time, the view from the appartment was spectacular. The appartment had everything we could need and was lovely and clean. Even though there was a family in the upstairs appartment, we didn't hear them. The beach was a 5 minute walk from the appartment and was fabulous, the water was lovely and clean. There is a lovely cliff top walk to the next village of Aberporth which was super, great views again. We went to New Quay and managed to see the dolphins which was fantastic, also saw some seals! The staff in the village shop in Aberporth were very friendly and we sampled both the fish and chip and chinese take away too! Both very good. We felt so relaxed here and wished we could have stayed longer than the 5 days we had.

We stayed in cliffhanger lodge 2 which is bright, very spacious, really nicely furnished with lovely personal touches, lots of games and dvd's for any rainy days and has the most amazing views. It's well worth paying the extra to have one of the seaview lodges. The park is very peaceful and just a short walk to the beach although the road or steps to the beach are very steep. View the waterfall when the tide is out as you get to see it fully. The coastal walk to Aberporth is a good way to get great views.

We are welcomed by the owner who took us to our cabin (Cliffhanger 2 - which has the BEST views out all all the 'Cliffhanger' lodges - although all were on the cliff edge) he showed us round, and told us about the heating - we had full control, which was nice as most accommodations have it set. The views were amazing & breathtaking. Sofas, beds and furnashings ere confotable and the lodge was cleaned within an inch of its life! The village is very small yet quaint, locals very friendly and the local pub called The Ship in is wonderful and cooked fresh fish throughtot the day. The beach was a little bracing as it was March when we went - the waterfall is beautiful. I was told that in the sunner there is a small shop/beach shop which opens. The next village is 1.5 miles away which oyu can walk via the coastal path - its a wonderful walk and the views are great! We are thinking of coming again in the New Year!

Room Tip: Any of the cliuffehangers (no2 apparently has the best views!)

We have been staying at this wonderful retreat for the past 9-10 years and intened to continue to do so. The accomadation is supereb,so too is the sea views, the beach the manager, his wife and staff, who are all very helpfull. We have stayed in a few of the lodges, but consider one in paticular as home! The site is so peacefull, if you are looking for a relaxing peacefull holiday, with a clean beach, a good pub and like walks with seaviews and wildlife,ie birds....Then this is the place for you.

Room Tip: All are good quality lodges and vans

We stayed in Cliffhanger Lodge 3, located on the edge of the cliff (!) with stunning views from the decked area across the sea and onto the beach. The lodge itself was fantastic, exceptionally well equipped, high standard of fittings and the unexpected bonus of an en suite to the main bedroom. The manager of the site was very helpful, and Tresaith itself is a tiny but charming village.
We travelled with our 2 year old and 6 month old, and had no problems with the lodge, and they both loved the beach.
Spotted dolphins on a trip to Newquay, and seals at Cardigan Island.
