Fab location, pass the church and onto the headland - look out to sea and see if you can spot them! Can do so with your eyes but bring your binoculars too !!!

“Not good for Dogs”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 July 2014

A superb beach, but am annoyed with National Trust for restricting visits to out of summer season.

We are responsible people who want to enjoy the outside life with our dog but are restricted to going to other beaches in the area that do allow dogs on areas of the beaches.

Surely it wouldn't take much to say dog owners use 1/2 of the beach only.

Toilets open all the time & a small shop selling souveniers.

No parking charge if you are a National Trust Member

“Attractive and quaint”

Narrow road to reach the car park and many steps down to the beach but worth the effort. Watch our for tractor drivers, they don't like to stop and lack any common courtesy

“Dolphins frolick close to shore”

Absolutely gorgeous beach. I saw a dolphin about 20 feet away from where I was swimming. Awesome! The kiosk doesn't take debit cards, so take cash if you fancy an ice cream

“Best in the West!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 July 2014

This truly is the best beach in West Wales! It lies in a sheltered cove by the beautiful Eglwys Mwnt (church). It is part of the National Trust Heritage. Plenty of opportunities here to walk part of the coastal walk towards another beautiful beach, Aberporth, or towards Cardigan Island Farm where a family can enjoy a fabulous day out feeding the animals and watching the lovely seals at the end of the farm. If you're lucky you may see some dolphins enjoying the calm seas from the beach in Mwnt. I have certainly seen them diving in and out of the water.
