“Amazing hotel, amazing value!”

I visited this hotel on an Amazon local voucher deal and I was aware that it was in the process of renovation after a change of ownership. The public rooms look newly decorated and stylish. We were allocated a sea view room, without the supplement! It was large, with room for a sofa, coffee table etc. The windows themselves were a little grotty but the view was an unbeatable panorama over the estuary to Poppit Sands. The bathroom was also in need of updating, but clean and tidy. The staff were very friendly and helpful, although some were young and inexperienced.the evening meal was included in the deal(£20 per person allowance) and the food was very tasty, although my husband's paella was underwhelming. The wine list was very reasonably priced as well. We visited the spa in the afternoon and had it to ourselves most of the time. This was probably just as well as the pool was small. A dozen people would be a crowd. That said it was beautiful, with twinkling lights and steam room, sauna and jacuzzi. The treatments looked good but the weather was too good to waste too much time inside. This hotel would have been good at full price, at the voucher price it was a real bargain!

I stayed here with some friends last week and I have to say that this hotel is one of the best in the area. Upon Arrival we were greeted by the enthusiastic reception staff who couldn't do enough for us! They were professional, welcoming and knowledgable about the area! Our room was lovely with a beautiful sea view. Though some rooms do need some TLC, it is obvious that the new owners are in the process of doing this and the public areas are looking modern and fresh. The spa facilities were gorgeous and as a group of friends we thoroughly enjoyed our time in there! A few of us had treatments and the therapists did a fantastic job! We left feeling relaxed! The food was absolutely gorgeous and the service was spot on. All of the staff were attentive and helpful. All in all, this hotel is the one to look out for! Now its under new ownership it looks like a completely different hotel and Im excited to see more changes in the future.

P.s The sunset was out of this world!

Thank you Cliff Hotel for a wonderful stay!

Room Tip: Sea View Rooms are the ones to go for!

Went here for spa and afternoon tea, there was eight of us that booked we found the reception staff very unhelpful they didn't ask if we needed any help even though we sat in reception for quite a while we walked past reception into the spa and was not told we were to pay there for spa towel and locker key.when asked where to go for afternoon tea didn't really know. Although the waiter was very helpful overall not a good birthday surprise.the shower in the ladies changing room overflowed after one shower and filled the room with water.

I visited the Cliff Hotel and spa last Friday with a large group from work.
I was extremely happy with the service from all the staff! I was made to feel happy and comfortable throughout the whole night with staff pampering to our every need. As a group we felt like royalty after being given our own room and balcony over looking the beautiful cardigan bay.
the food was beautiful and quick, I strongly recommend the Cliff Hotel and Spa to anyone that wants a relaxing, satisfying break.
this isn't the first time we have visited the cliff and it definitely wont be the last! we will be returning in the near future! thank you for your hospitality!

We arrived mid afternoon on the 8th June. It was a beautiful day and we were firstly blown away by the beauty of the immediate area and location of the hotel. Reception had recently been refurbished, it was bright, spacious and welcoming. The reception staff were very friendly. We had requested a sea view room which is what we got. It was a lovely room, quite spacious, with the most breath taking views over the bay. We just stood at the window staring. The bathroom was functional, took a while for hot water to come through and I was surprised that there were no complimentary toiletries. There was a birthday celebration taking place in the function room but still plenty space for additional guests to wonder around, have a drink in the bar etc. Once again, all staff were very pleasant. There were area's of the hotel under renovation, it didn't affect our stay at all and it was nice to see that someone has the passion to bring it to a new level of beauty.Such a beautiful evening allowed us to have a walk along the cliff, overlooking the bay. It was stunning. Our meal in the restaurant was beautiful. Served by a lovely young lady and a very jolly guy. My meal was cous cous and vegetable tagine and my husband had a hunters chicken and steamed vegetables. The service was excellent and the food, faultless. We enjoyed a good nights sleep. Breakfast was a tad disappointing. We arrived in the restaurant at 8.45am and there was very little on offer. There was no vegetarian option so I would have liked some croissants and fruit salad but there was only a few chunks of grapefruit left and no croissants. I ended up having beans, mushrooms and an egg that I left because it was not cooked enough for my liking. I would have expected the breakfast self service to have been better organized, not waiting until something had completely run out before cooking more meaning more waiting time, but that is the only minor niggle. We had a look in the sap but as I was feeling unwell on the Monday morning the heat from it was just too much to deal with. It was stunning though, maybe next time. We are intending to go back soon and maybe this matter with breakfast may have been take care of by then.

Room Tip: Deffinitley ask for a sea view room.

I recently stayed at the cliff hotel with 11 other colleagues/friends celebrating a 30th birthday.

When we arrived at the front desk, staff were friendly, helpful, professional and just a joy to converse with.

The room was spacious, comfortable and clean with stunning views. It was a hot day so I phoned reception to see if we could have a fan and an ice bucked. Both arrived at the room within minutes. The service was excellent and the staff could not do enough for us.

Our meals were delicious with a variety of choice. We ate in a private room which was lovely as it was a special occasion.

The spa facilities are fantastic. You must go to the spa and relax on the hot stone bed, it's heaven.

The hot food in the buffet breakfast is of a very high standard. Everything cooked to perfection.

The hotel is looking gorgeous and is an absolute credit to the new owners. They have done such a wonderful job in such a short space of time. I will be back in 6 weeks to sample afternoon tea. I've heard amazing things.

I would highly recommend to everyone, this hotel caters for all.

Had a lovely time at the Cliff last weekend. From the moment I stepped into the lovely refurbished reception the staff were welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for them. Felt thoroughly relaxed and looked after, especially after a visit to the spa!

Look forward to returning here again soon especially to see the continuing positive refurbishments under way with the new and experienced owners and to try the afternoon tea which I've heard is delicious!

I highly recommend the salt and pepper calamari which they have on the menu and the mini-facial treatment at the spa (especially for those on a tight time schedule) even though I personally probably ruined its effects with the very helpful bar staff during the evening!

Thanks for a great celebration weekend!
