Reviewed 14 June 2014

We group of friends stayed here for one night, it was an awesome trip, YHA is located in a beautiful location, nice view from my room. the rooms were hygienic and comfortable. Hope they could have some food store to buy basic food such as milk and bread.

This is in a lovely location, sea view from room, all amenities as you'd expect with yha (n.b..self-catered) warm and inviting. Parking needs consideration as the council car park, a short hilly walk away, will charge from May. Excellent base for seeing a picturesque, diverse and rural part of Wales

Its up a fairly tight single track road and the parking area is tight, once parked be aware that you are going to get blocked in, there is a contact book in the place but hey your on holiday so chill.
There is then a steep path down to the house so again its a place for active folk.
We met the volunteer assistant I think it was Carol a very friendly lady great help.
The kitchen and dining areas are good and the room we had was one with 3 bunks.
Individual light, socket and you get a storage box under the bed, padlock required although you can lock the room.
Fantastic views
My only complaint was the lack of hot water for both shower and the dishes very poor.
It appears to be on solar heating average temp on the display 11c.
After a days paddling and on a below average May day just about bearable, not sure if kids would tolerate it.
