We have a holiday home near Cardigan and were waiting to try this restaurant. We went with friends on a Friday evening. The food was excellent and freshly cooked, well presented and all of us really enjoyed it and cleared our plates. We shared a selection of local cheeses which again was delicious and well presented.

The only very small minus at the moment is the atmosphere, whilst the restaurant is beautifully decorated we felt the lights were too bright and lower lighting maybe with candles on the tables would give more ambience. Also the restaurant was not very full and with more people it would have more of a buzzy feel but that will come as the restaurant becomes more popular which we are sure it will.

All in all we would thoroughly recommend Polly's Bistro and we would certainly go there again on our own or with friends..

Couldn't find a thing open on a Sunday morning and were thrilled when the two chefs (who were setting up for the day), discovered us wandering aimless and offered to open early to make us breakfast. Not only that, but the simple breakfasts were exceptional. Great quality food and excellent friendly service added up to a memorable start to the day. Will definitely drop in again next time we're in Cardigan. Thanks!

Always on the lookout for nice venues for coffee and lunch and have been waiting in anticipation for this bistro, previously a furniture shop, to open. Found out what day they were opening so popped in for an Americano which was good and reasonably-priced. Looking forward to sampling their lunches in the not too distant future so watch this space!

Thank you for your kind comments and we look forward to you returning. We are still at the 'soft opening' stage, training the staff and so on and are looking forward to opening in the evenings as well from August.
