We recently stayed at Wavecrest Guest House and were pleased to have chosen Wavecrest amongst the many other places to stay in Barmouth. Shelagh & Eric the owners are such wonderful hosts and we couldn't have asked to meet two nicer people! Our room was lovely, breakfast was Shelagh's home cooking and Eric took everyone's orders in the morning by memory....not even sure I could do that!! We devoured the brekkie every morning, which kept us full until tea time! Highly recommended :o)
The Guest House really is a stone throw away from the beach and the town is within walking distance, just as everyone highlights, which to us (like many others) is ideal. Parking was fab! Loads of free parking outside....we enjoyed a lovely roast dinner in the Min-y-Mor Hotel, which Shelagh kindly booked us in for.
We would like to visit Barmouth again, as there are a few places nearby we did not get to see and when we do I will be re-booking at Wavecrest.More
