When you first drive up it’s steep warning if like me you don’t like steep narrow roads walk it. The apartments are new we had a two bed on the top floor and the space is great. Two decent size bedrooms with each having there own shower and toilet. The lounge is large with a kitchen to the one side. Everything you need is there. The views are worth staying here breathtaking. The walk to Barmouth is short but be prepared for steep climb.
Outside area is pure chill. Three areas where you can sit and the hot tub. Robes and slippers are the to borrow if you forget
Very enjoyable weekend and will go back
If you enjoy a walk go visit blue lake a full day out but if weather is good it’s pure bliss
We we’re lucky enough to be the very first visitors to this brand new apartment.
The rooms are all decorated in a clean, modern style to a very high standard, with en-suite shower rooms for both bedrooms.
The kitchen is modern and thoughtfully planned so that the space doesn’t feel crowded (and very well equipped - including sharp knives).
The main living/dining area is comfortable and feels very spacious. However, the absolute best thing about this apartment (and absolutely worth the extra flight of stairs to the top floor) is the amazing view out of the windows across the Mawddach estuary. We could have sat all day watching the tide, the people and the trains all going back and forth.
The outside areas are amazing too, with a beautiful decked BBQ area, complete with gas BBQ (also with fantastic views) and there’s enough off-road parking available for all the apartments.
The owners are on site (on the ground floor) and were amazingly helpful and welcoming.
The only downside is that the walk back from Barmouth is not for the faint of heart as the road is very steep! But as far as we’re concerned, the views are absolutely worth the walk.
We’ll definitely be visiting again at some point and can highly recommend a holiday here.
