“Very Unique Special Place”
Reviewed 10 May 2010

Myself & Husband, recently spent a wonderful, & memorable weekend staying at
Tyr Graig Castle Barmouth. It is a haven of peace & tranquillity, our sea view turret
room was very comfortable, with the most spectacular views.
An evening meal in the conservatory is highly recommended (not to be missed) !
it is really romantic & relaxing, with good food & gorgeous sea views. The Staff are
very efficient, friendly & helpful. We would not hesitate to recommend Ty Graig Castle
to a friend, we cannot wait to go back. (Spring Bank Holiday) !!

Highly recommended:
I stayed in room 2. Gob-smaking views across Cardigan Bay.
Beautiful room. Very comfortable bed.

Khaled and his team made me feel very welcome.
No request was any bother. A cold drink delivered to me on the terrace overlooking the beach? How cool is that!

Food was great-both dinner and breakfast.
And such a beautiful building-mosiac floors and intricate lead-light windows.

What a treat

The owners made us really welcome and nothing was too much trouble for them and their staff. They were always polite, efficient and courteous. The hotel itself is steeped in history and the restorations and decorations have been authentically reproduced. The food was excellent and everywhere was clean tidyand well presented. The room was very comfortable with outstanding views over Cardigan Bay. Having evening meal in the conservatory and watching the sunset over the sea was gorgeous. We look forward to visiting again.

We have just come home from a very short stay at this wonderful hotel. From start to finish the service was 5 star. Our bedroom had the little touches that you would only expect in a very upmarket Hotel. Sitting looking out to sea having Dinner was pefect - the food wonderful. We cannot wait to go back again.

To any traveler going to Wales do not miss staying at this gem of an hotel.
The position and views are great and, combined with the welcome you receive at the castle, will make you happy that you took the trouble to travel that far.
We had an enchanting evening dining with a view over the sea.
