I stayed here over Easter with Central London Outdoor Group (my walking club). It was an excellent B&B. It was terrfic value. We had a relaxing stay (inbetween walking) and it was very comfy and quiet. The location is perfect. The rooms have good facilities including wifi. There was a good choice of breakfasts which were very tasty and the cooked breakfast was lovely. The owners are very pleasant and likeable and are trying very hard to get it right for guests; they were putting the finishing touches to doing the place up (which was mostly complete apart from possibly a few carpets). There was plentiful hot water (except when we all had a shower simultaneously but that's what happens when you have a group all getting back at the same time so it's a very minor quibble). Having visited B&Bs when I ran a tourist office in Kent, I'd have no hesitation in going back to this one or recommending it with confidence to future visitors

Room Tip: rooms at the front have a great view of the seafront

I came here with my Fiancé for a short 4 day break. We were absolutely delighted with the warm welcome that we received upon arrival. Our room was beautiful and we feel that the guest house deserves more than a 2 star award. Our room (Number 3) has a fantastic sea view with a sofa to watch over the bay with the panoramic views of Barmouth and Fairborn. Not to mention a luxurious 4 poster bed. The room was very spacious, clean and well presented. The en-suite bathroom with Bath and shower was modern and clean. We will definitely be staying again for longer, next year :-)

Room Tip: Number 3 for fantastic views.

I loved the family room with the sea-view, and my kids really enjoyed it. Spacious, beautiful view, warm, comfortable bed, very clean. we arrived to rain for the whole three days of our stay but the comfort of the Marwyn Guest House and the sights around made our holiday enjoyable still. Non-imposing yet friendly staff and delicious breakfast; I've stayed at a few marriott hotels and prefer Marwyn any day!
