We stayed for a week from 30 March until 6 April. In order to access this cottage, which has no parking, you have to walk through a damp enclosed corridor that smells of damp and cigarette smoke. Inside, one of the two couches was broken with nails protruding from it, it wasn’t safe to sit on and wasn’t removed when requested. The second bedroom is so small that you can’t fit between the wall and the end of the bed so if you need the loo in the night you have to climb over the bed closest to the door. The boiler is in the second bedroom, unboxed, so it’s noisy when it fires up in the night. The blind in the bathroom was broken such that it can’t be rolled up. There is a downstairs loo effectively in the kitchen, there is only the loo door separating it from where you cook your food. The cottage was only furnished with the minimum of crockery (4 bowls, 4 plates, we actually bought some more mugs because 4 for a family isn’t enough). Very low ceilings in the bedrooms so watch your heads.
