“Beautiful Cottage inside and out”

Monthly Tutors Cottage is absolutely beautiful, there's no other way to describe it. The owners have decorated this cottage wonderfully, paying brilliant attention to detail. There's lots of lovely old objects and pictures around the house, giving it an almost museumy feel.

The bed in the master bedroom was really really comfortable! We didn't use either of the other bedrooms but did sit in the twin room occasionally, just because it was so pretty! As for the rest of the house, the kitchen is well equipped; we loved the free-standing bath in the bathroom, and the living room wood burner was lovely on colder evenings.

Fishguard itself has seen better days, with a fair few boarded up shops, hotels and pubs. But don't let this put you off! The locals are some of the nicest people we've ever met and the nights we spent in the pubs were unforgettable! We were treated to an evening of ghost stories from the locals in the Ship Inn, a lovely old pub in Fishguard Old Town by the harbour, and we also enjoyed an eve in the Fishguard arms where the locals had us in fits of laughter!

The area is a fantastic base for walking and we spent most of our week there exploring the rugged coastal cliff paths. Absolutely stunning scenery!

I would happily recommend this cottage and area to anybody.
