We were in Fishguard in Aug 2013, when the Jazz Festival was on. Decided to dine here on our second night and it turned out to be a terrific decision.
The place is quite small and family run. We waited about 10 minutes while they laid out a table for us, but (and this was a first in my life) we were made to wait inside an art gallery! The front of this cafe is actually the West Wales Arts Centre, and we certainly did not notice the ten minutes pass by.
Bar and menu were quite small, again consistent with the family run nature, but the food was amazingly good, and would easily put many expensive London restaurants to shame. Every main course was perfect, and so were the desserts.
The only slight negative was that the place was very basic. However, there was a piano on the side which suggested live music and I am sure the atmosphere would be great when someone's playing live in a small venue like this one.
All in all a hidden gem, that wasn't even on this site until this review. Do not miss this if you are in town!
