Good course but if you struggle with hilly courses this may not be for you, we did without any problem order a driveable caddycart for 2 players at £15.00 total cost which made life much easier. Friendly welcome and well worthwhile course to play.Had a meal in the clubhouse very acceptable food.
Well worth a visit.

I played this course in June 2014 in near perfect golfing conditions and I've seldom enjoyed a round as much as I did at LWGC. Every hole in unique and the views will rightly be the envy of most clubs in the country. It's a tough walk with the uphill stretches starting at the first tee but fairways like shag pile are easy on the feet and make up for the slopes. The team in the clubhouse and pro-shop were very welcoming and the members are a great bunch offering welcome advice whenever required. Don't be fooled by the length or lack of sand, the elevation and grass bunkers more than make up for it!

Have played in the Open Week for the 3rd year. Top course, do not let the first hole put you off. Some of the best holes I have played on ANY golf course. Stunning 360 degree panoramic views. Absolute brilliant memorable finishing hole called "Death or Glory". Modern buggies available to hire if you don't fancy the walk.

Very helpful Golf Pro and friendly local members. Club house serves good quality food at a very decent price served with a smile.

Could not say a bad word about the place. Yes the course can be tough, but in my view one of the most enjoyable golf courses I have played for the views and some spectacular holes.

Give it a try!

A tough course and not for the faint hearted. Pre booking buggy for those who may have mobility or health issues recommended.

Day Two of heart of wales golf break, golf with a fuzzy head, hangover or altitude, not sure, daunting drive up the hills to arrive at Golf club, even more daunting drive up the first fairway, stay on the fairways or your in the thick of it, up up and more up, Best views in wales in my opinion, photo stops all the way round, well worth a visit.
