A double birthday break for four hard working people was made special by the hospitality we found at the Guest House, we had a warm reception by the friendly owners, June and Eugene.
The whole place was spotless, very comfortable and as the building the last on the small street, you were on the edge of the countryside, days were quiet there and the nights silent, if your room faced the road and you left your window open at night you could hear the faint ripple of the river below.
The was an open lounge with large sofas, patio doors that opened out on sunny evenings.
We were over stuffed in the mornings with a wide selection of food, your needs are met every way possible.
They helped us plan our days out and pointed us in the right direction for evening meals.
The weather was wet our first evening there, which is not the Guest House's fault, but we made the most of it. The rest of our weekend the weather was beautiful and we took the opportunity to take in the breath taking scenery around the area.

I cannot praise June and Eugene enough for making our stay comfortable, I for one have come home relaxed.

Warmest Wishes
Debbie, Jackie, Hoover & Bartie

We had a lovely weekend break - helped by glorious weather Very comfortable accommodation and the hospitality was second to none. The countryside and scenery was breathtaking - we'd happily go again. The red kytes were a lovely sight and we visited the red kyte centre. Everyone we met was really friendly.

Had an excellent stay here in June. Wonderful location with fabulous walks on the doorstep. We stayed in downstairs room with large bathroom. Bed was really comfortable with super linen. Very clean and well appointed. Lots of hot water and powerful shower. Breakfast was absolutely delicious with top quality produce. June was a brilliant host. Great guest lounge with west facing door onto patio. Lovely sofas in here to relax in evening. We ate at Neuadd Arms hotel - food great and reasonably priced. Will definitely return.

Was at the Newhall guest house for a one night stay in May, found the stay very pleasant. June the owner was extremely helpful explaining the attractions around this small town. Accommodation was excellent and extremely clean and tidy, good attention to detail. Fantastic breakfast with good company. Would recommend this guesthouse for a few nights stay.

We stayed 2 nights and can confirm that this is an good base to explore the area from. June is an excellent hostess, clearly doing her best to make the stay as pleasant as possible for all with advice as to where to go and what's on, as well as providing a good breakfast. The place is clean, comfortable and well equiped.
