“We were spoilt!”

Our stay was fabulous! Kathy and Brian were wonderful hosts and great to talk to. The breakfast smoked salmon and the sweet they offered upon our arrival were delicious. We stayed at two rooms over three nights - the double room and the twin room. The twin room was well-appointed but the double room was definitely better – more spacious, very bright with a great view of the beautiful garden and the hills afar.

My husband and I booked our 1 night stay here after consulting Trip Advisor only 2 days before our visit. On arrival we were greeted by Brian, Cathy and Minnie (the very cute Jack Russell) with a pot of tea and some homemade welsh cakes and chocolate shortbread which we enjoyed out in their beautiful garden overlooking the Beacons. Brian and Cathy are great hosts and very happy to socialise with their guests if required. We spent our evening meal at their recommendation in 'The Bear' pub less than 5 minutes walk away and then had a very comfortable nights sleep in their spotlessly clean and well appointed room with little extras such as Cathy's homemade biscuits and fresh fruit. Breakfast the following morning was fantastic with a great selection and it is obvious that cooking is a great love of Cathy's whilst Brian is great Front of House. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would have no hesitation in recommending this B & B to anyone.

Welcoming and friendly owners, spacious, comfortable and clean accommodation, beautiful garden, fresh produce breakfasts, every need pampered to - all made for a fantastic, relaxing holiday. Set in the lovely village of Crickhowell and close to wonderful walks along the canal. Would definitely recommend. Thank you Kathy and Brian for making our stay in Wales so perfect.

Room Tip: Two spacious rooms have ensuites, two rooms have shared bathroom facilities which would be ideal for...

We picked this place with no pre-checking of Trip Advisor so we were very pleasantly surprised by the care and attention given to us and our twin two-year olds by Kathy and Brian. They went out of their way to please the little ones which, of course, made our stay a delight. We were given a family suite with a bedroom for the boys and a room for us - both with amazing views over the beautiful Crickhowell skyline - if we hadn't had to boys we would definitely have loved to do a walk from the B and B as the hills looked very tempting. Ask for a room at the back if you can as they have the best views.
The place was very clean and well maintained, the garden was full of lovely flowers and veg - which the boys were allowed to help water and Minnie the Jack Russell was gentle and friendly to the little ones.
Lovely to meet such great hosts who genuinely seem to love running the B and B!

Stayed here with a couple of friends - annual event! We had originally booked a couple of twins but unfortunately one friend was unable to come.

We were offered a single and twin with adjoining shared bathroom, which was perfect!

Kathy and Brian are brilliant hosts, on arrival we were offered tea and home made cakes - fantastic after a long drive. Most welcome!

The rooms were lovely with good selection of teas, coffees, hot chocolate etc plus a daily refresh of those home made biscuits - you won't be able to resist!!

They are situated in a quite road - it is down a steep slope but there's parking so if walking a problem you'll be able to drive in and out. Views are fab. Breakfast is brilliant - good selection of fresh fruit, cereals, yoghuts, juices etc. That's the healthy stuff, then there's the cooked breakfast! Very, very good all locally sourced.

Best - lovely food and hosts
Worst - none!

Wonderful couple owns the place - they had great suggestions for what to do while we were in the area. Beautiful view from the room and breakfast was outstanding. Recommended!
