We were heading to Pencilli for a sporting event and needed a quick dinner en route. This looked like a nice pub so we went in to the busy bar and were led to the nearly empty restaurant.
The menus took ages and we were a little apprehensive as there seemed to be staff training on and they didn't seem overly interested in dealing with us, more with the clients in the adjoining bar.
Two of us ordered battered cod, the other, Lamb Shanks.
The food arrived, beautifully presented and tasted really really good.
I was only sorry we couldn't stay for pudding.
The owner (I presume) was friendly when we were paying the bill.
Would definitely recommend for the food quality.
