Windsor is an old town, not very big. We picked it as a place to stay over on our Bay of Fundy exploration. The reviews in T.A. helped us to pick the Clockmaker's Inn. It's easy to find…so distinctive looking. We were enthusiastically greeted by one of the owners, Sarah, and made to feel at home right away. The inn is filled with beautiful furnishings and antiques. Sarah and her husband, Sean, keep it clean and well-stocked. Our room was nicely decorated, was quiet, and had everything we needed. We were two couples traveling together, and we had the place to ourselves this week (off-season and a Monday night). There is a nice "nook" on the second floor with ample seating area, a nice table, games and books. We played a few rounds of Yahtzee, drank some wine, and relaxed after our long drive there.
We were asked for our breakfast "picks" the night before, and Sean prepared a tasty and wholesome breakfast for each of us according to what we had ordered. Sarah was very informative and provided us with suggestions for dinner, sightseeing, and shopping. Their two young boys are adorable! All in all, a very nice stay!!
