The house is a work of art: hardwood floors, attractive rooms, and all lovingly cared for. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfasts are works of art too. Each morning there is a different menu (there are 22 different menus, so you could stay for three weeks and not experience the same breakfast); and the food is freshly prepared. Stunning views across the St. Laurence river. And Pierre and Mariette are the most welcoming of hosts.

Room Tip: Our room was excellent. I assume that the others are too.

First, a little housekeeping note : Current owners Mariette and Pierre have been operating this B&B for two years. Any earlier reviews apply to the previous administration.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Nature et Pinceaux. The B&B is beautiful. The house are very nicely decorated (country style). We particularly enjoyed the large balconies with view on the St-Lawrence River. Everything was meticulously clean.

The garden was beautiful!

The hosts were warm and welcoming. The breakfasts were very good.

We liked everything about this B&B. So much so that we are considering buying gift certificates for some members of our families.

Room Tip: Room La Montagnarde has a very nice view.

Where do I start? Just returned from a very enjoyable visit to the Charlevoix region of Quebec, which included our stay at the Natur et Princeux. This is a first class Auberge, meticulously clean, a bed from heaven, beautiful ambiance, with plenty of common areas for relaxing and mingling with the other guests (who were all a pleasure to meet and chat with). Breakfast is gourmet both in variety, preparation, presentation and quality. We were in awe continuously! There is a real pride and love for the food of the region, which includes various cheeses that are world class. It was a nice touch to have Pierre explain (with genuine pride) each courses ingredients!

Without sounding cliche you will arrive as a guest but Mariette and Pierre will make you feel that you are family by the time you leave.

Do not hesitate to stay here, we had a fantastic get away!

We had a wonderful stay at this bed and breakfast. The hosts are very warm, friendly and helpful. The house is large, with plenty of common space, and is warm and welcoming. The room and ensuite bath were spacious, with a great shower and a very comfortable bed. There is a coffee maker and fridge available for use by guests and a wonderful balcony to sit on with your coffee/tea/wine and gaze at the river below. It's location is a short drive from town, but the view and tranquility is worth it. Breakfast was superb, showcasing local specialty items (cheese, smoked trout). Dinner recommendations by the hosts were also fabulous.

The B&B is absolutely stunning: beautifully appointed rooms, with a lot of attention to detail, nice light from all the windows and a simply relaxing view of the Fleuve St Laurent. The breakfasts were 3-course gourmet delights. Cannot recommend the hosts enough!!

Room Tip: Choose Le reveur room. Good value and beautiful views.
