Easy to find and in a quaint town in beautiful Charlevoix. Not a luxury hotel but very nice. Our room had two queen beds which were exceptionally comfortable. Spotless sheets and duvet. Pillows were nice and fluffy and comfortable too. The room and bathroom were super clean and simply decorated. I liked the prints and posters of works by Canadian artists and photographers that decorated the rooms and halls. Our room was spacious and easily fit an additional roll-away bed. No cigarette smoke smells in the halls or room which was so nice! Walls might be a little bit thin -- we could hear our neighbors when they spoke loudly. The price was good and room quality excellent so this is a great value.

The hotel staff were especially nice and helpful. Very hospitable people.

There's a restaurant attached to the hotel. Decently priced menu. Served Canadian, Chinese and Italian food. Stick with the Canadian or Italian -- the Chinese food wasn't anything to get excited about. Our waitress was so friendly and kind to us.

Good location to both Baie Saint Paul itself and Le Massif.

Rooms are in good shape but could do with a new coat of paint.

Access to the outside from the patio door on the first floor was handy.

Free breakfast that was included in the rate was good, but a little more variety would be nice.

It would be better if there was a hot-tub available after skiing.

I would consider returning to this hotel again in the future.

Room Tip: It might be a bit quieter on the second floor, but we didnt have a problem on the first floor.

At first view we were disappointed by the place (close to the road and looks more like a motel than a hotel) but once in the bedroom you change your mind, they are big and bed are comfortable. The bathroom is clean.
You have a restaurant in the hotel were you can have a regular breakfast for 5$. We spent 2 nights there and noticed nothing wrong. It is possible to be anoyed by the neighbourgs because walls are thin. You have a feisge in the room.We went to "l'ile aux coudres" for one day were you can rent bikes and ride around the island it was very nice.
Last thing to say about the hotel : you need to take your car to go downtown but it's a 2 minutes ride !

the hallway smelled like an old ashtray. The carpet was old and ugly.
We asked for a roll away bed. For $10 they brought in a bare mattress, torn in spots and so old that the only thing keeping my 9 year old from hitting the floor were the springs. there was no cushion what so ever. When we informed them that we were unable to use it, we were given a $5 credit.
The $5 breakfast was basic and minimal and the coffee tasted like hot water.
There was a dog a few doors down that barked constantly for over an hour.
The beds were actually comfortable and the room was clean.
The location is on a highway away from the cute part of town.

Nice hotel. Our room was very quiet even though we were close to the road. Very friendly staff. The room was a litle bit old-fashioned, but in excelent shape. Also it was very clean, with car parking area near the rooms.

We stayed at the Hotel Baie-Saint-Paul while visiting Charlevoix region, in our way to see the whales on a cruise on the Saguenay Fjord. Baie-Saint-Paul city is known for its panoramic environment and also it's an artist's paradise, having a lots of galleries to visit and to enjoy a good meal in one of the small and very nice restaurants in downtown area. The hotel was very CLEAN, quiet and had comfortable rooms. They offer also a great, full breakfast for only 5 extra dollars. Desk staff were exceptionally helpful. The price was unbelievably low for the quality, the surroundings are very nice, we could not have been happier with our choice.
