We had an early dinner one evening and we sat in the patio. Nice and cool, but it did not take long for annoying flies to start buzzing around our table...If there ever is another visit, we'll dine inside. The speciality, of course, is empanadas: there are about 12 fillings to choose from, and there are BIG. We split one carne (meat) empanada, and it was absolutely delicious and the best I ever had. Since I was still a bit hungry, I ordered grilled tuna, expertly done. About another hour later, the place was full, with couples and families. I got to meet the owner, Tia Berta, a very nice old lady, and I got to compliment her on her restaurant, which seemed to please her to no end. Fairly cheap, but very good eats.
