“My favorite restaurant in Caracas”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 January 2013

Great ambiance and wonderful food have made this my favorite restaurant in Caracas, can't help stopping by everytime I'm in the city. My favorite dish is the roasted pork risotto with caramelized onion and wine reduction, simple marvelous. They also have a great list of wines.

Service is average, which I guess that by Venezuelan standards is really good service.

It can be a place for both romantic dates and family gatherings.

I chose this restaurant to celebrate my civil wedding in 2011 and the great food, wonderful wines, tasteful decoration, helpful staff and ambiance made it so we could have a wonderful evening.

“great place for breakfast and dinner”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 May 2012

Take a deep look at the menu, since the best stuff is not necessarily the most highlighted. For breakfast, is a must to order the "empanaditas" and the churros. I also ordered "queso a la plancha" with my egg bruschetta and it was great. The eggs benedict are also great. Try the orange-mango juice as well.

“Perfect date night!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 April 2012

The decor and menu is quite French and yet it's an Italian bistro. It's pricey, a bottle of Argentine malbec costing 220 BsF (here in Buenos Aires, it would be at the most half that in a restaurant). We sat in the lounge, sipped on a peach apricot daiquiri and coffee. The plate of profiteroles arrived, filled with cinnamon ice cream, sprinkled with toasted almond slivers was then dowsed with a warm dark chocolate sauce - heaven! (3 items, 95 BsF) Taxi or public transport (from Chacaíto metro station, metro bus 221 does a round-trip passing Centro Comercial Tolón first a few blocks away, and then at Mucuchies on the way back).

“modern cuisine with character”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 February 2012

This place has an amazing decoration, with a lot of personality. The food is always good. My favorite: the Lamb Risotto!, the best in town. Even though a reservation is not needed, it is very suggested to do it since you could wait one hour during peak hours. Good service and valet parking
