Lodging was up to par with the states. Rooms were big, nice and clean with Aircon food was good and plenty but still had the feeling of Africa and the outdoors. All of the staff was vvery polite and helpful. The interaction was awesome. From the Cheetah to the Cerval. Pieter is the manager that did the tour and spent hours talking with several people over drinks at the nightly bonfire. It is still close enough to do daily safaris to Shluwshui Reserve. We could not have been happier with this place or Pieter.

We paid at the entrance for our family but when we wanted to enter the enclosures the guide told us my 8 year old daughter is to small she is not allowed inside. So my wife had to wait outside with her all the time. So we paid all that money for nothing, why were we not informed before we paid??? We were made to wait 25 minutes for a tourist group that was late. When they joined us the entire group was so big the guide could not control all the people.

We just came for the little 4pm tour which includes feeding some of the cats, and above all, patting a cheetah on the head! it purrs!
the ranger was very knowledgeable, fun and to the point.
They do a fantastic job, thank you!

A not to be missed attraction. Situated on the N2 - Durban side of Hluhluwe. A highlight was the tour guide who was most knowledgeable, an expert in his field. The highlight was stroking a cheetah, who was relaxed and was licked by this magnificent cat. A life ambition realised.

This was our second visit to the sanctuary and as a family we enjoyed it thoroughly. A tea garden/shop is available with refreshments on offer before and after the tour. The guide was friendly, informative and expressed the need for this African cats to rehabilitate back into the reserves. Lots of good work being done to help these animals and bring their plight to the public. Well done to the owners for doing their bit to preserve these species. We were able to get quite close to the cheetah - all and all a really good tour to go to! As we were Lodge guests, we did not have to pay for the cat tours, but visitors are welcome.
