“My new favorite place!”
Reviewed 15 April 2014

Seriously, I am so excited that I found this wonderful gem just north of Hot Springs. Next time I want to just get away and relax, this will be my FIRST choice. It was just like going home, where everything is taken care of, and you are just happy, and welcomed, and fed! Homemade biscotti and homemade cookies, along with coffee, tea, and sodas were always available. This is a BEAUTIFUL home with incredible porches, amazing views (including hummingbirds and finches) and the sweetest innkeepers. Rhonda and Mike pay attention to EVERY DETAIL. They are pros at hospitality. There are books in the common room and in all the rooms. There are fireplaces in many of the rooms. All of the rooms are beautiful (the pictures don't do them justice) and all have private baths. I can't wait to return again, and often!

Room Tip: You can't go wrong. All of the rooms are great, and affordable!

We have been here 3 or 4 times. My husband and I got engaged here as well. It is so peaceful and the people who help you are amazing. I also love the animals who are there. It just feels like a home. It's 30 minutes from Hot Springs..but I really don't mind the drive. It's worth it!

This is the best dang get-a-way ever! I mean, if yer biking up the road (scenic 7), or just want a room before you get to Petit Jean. After all,, when it's 30 degrees outside you might want to wait till the sun comes up before you start sett'n up yer tent.

Very few know what I am saying. Those that do.. we will meet in Glory.

And the grub is to die for! They didn't call it a "Bed & Breakfast" for no reason! Best beds, best pillows, best GRUB, curtesy of Mike and Rhonda. BYOB.

If you catch him on a spur... Mike'll tell you stories around a campfire.

Stars.. like you never see in Dallas. Crickets. The Fall color of the trees. Hound dawgs barking in the distance, an ocasional shot from a mussel loader around dawn.

A simple Inn along Scenic 7 / Arkansas.

These folks are why they call humans human! So... if yer looking for tarts, or gambling.. thats 20 miles south. Mountain Thyme... Well if you hate God... do not go there. If you are subconsciencously needing a refresher course on Reality 101, and yer in the neighborhood... or just got married...

There's no better place to go back to year after year after year... Anniversary!

Stop off. You wont be sorry!

Tom Jobes

Room Tip: Rooms... Whichever one you score is GREAT! It's like going to Jesus before you die...

This is such a great bed and breakfast! Mike and Rhonda are great! No need to go to the visitors center they have it all there for you even menus of area restaurants. The room was great nice, clean and quiet. Breakfast was wonderful and there is a pantry just incase you get hungry or trusty during the day, we had cookies waiting for us every day when we returned. Mike and Rhonda respect your privacy and are willing to help with every question you might have and offer suggestions of things to see and places to go. We enjoyed our breakfast on the porch and having Mike and Rhonda sit down with us in the mornings to chat.
There are hammocks to relax in, trails to explore, a large porch to sit on complete with a porch swing. Binoculars on the porch to view the wildlife. You even get to pick out your own soap. We really enjoyed our stay.

Room Tip: Since we were the only ones staying they let us wonder around and see the other rooms. They are all...

My husband and I booked our stay because we were attending a wedding in the area. We ended up having 3 of the most relaxing days ever. One other couple was a first time visitor... the other 4 couples that drifted in and out during our stay were repeat visitors. The Inn Keepers, Mike & Rhonda have created a very comfortable environment for their guests. The food was delicious (and Rhonda is happy to share recipes), the place was peacefully quiet, and it felt like we were just visiting family. You might arrive a stranger, but you'll leave as a friend. We'll most definitely be return visitors to Mountain Thyme Inn. Thanks Mike & Rhonda!!!

Room Tip: As far as we can tell.... all rooms are comfortable, spacious, and exceptionally clean. We would be...

This two-day visit to Mountain Thyme was just a bit better because we stayed in the Dogwood room with its canopy bed (wife love it), comfortable chair for book reading (my love) and a shower and a jacuzzi tub (we both loved them). Innkeepers Mike and Rhonda are the best. We hope to return first week of November when the mountains around Mountain Thyme will we hundreds of fall colors.
