Located just outside Cafayate, Grace is a wonderful retreat from hectic city life. The grounds are beautiful- set amongst vineyards and mountains- and the perfect spot for relaxing or star gazing from the roof terrace.
Rooms are modern and well appointed. The bed is comfortable and there are plenty of pillows. The staff are helpful, and super friendly although very little English is spoken. Luckily one of us spoke Spanish, which helped a lot.
Breakfast was lovely - eggs and bacon every day and the occasional Dulce de Leche pancake - and dinner was also good. You can also bring your own wine for corkage, which is great if you bought something back from a vineyard. Talking of which, Rocio did an awesome job of organising wine tastings and transport for us!
We used taxis a lot- it was 100 ARS each way into town, which is relatively inexpensive. It’s worth noting that most restaurants open late- only the hotel and Bad Brothers were open for dinner at 7.30, which is when we preferred to eat.
All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our time at Grace and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. We’d definitely stay again. More
