This was a walk in experience, as we had to adjust plans. The price was 200 bols for a two person room with outside shared bathroom. Don't know if due to miscommunication, it was a twin room rather than a double room. The room did not have an outside window but oner onto the corridor, so the curtains were drawn all the time and making the room a little dark. The crt tv did not seem to work, but we were not too bothered. The room did not have a private bathroom and would be 100 bolivianos extra. There was another hotel nearby that included a private bathroom and was cheaper, but because they couldn't offer a garage and their English was non existent and no breakfast would be provided, we went with hotel Julia. They also provided a toilet roll, as they seemed not to provide any in the bathroom, perhaps to deter people off the street? The hotel is well located, close to the main Street we here there was a market on the Sunday and many restaurants as and shops.
The garage was actually someone else's garage, rather than hotel parking, and was a 10 min walk from the hotel, we followed therm by bike to get there!
WiFi was fine initially, the code was automatically provided, however it stopped working around 9am the next morning, it as appeared there had changed the password. As checkout was not till 12, we found this bizarre as and did not bothert asking for as new code.
The buffet Breakfast is good, fresh juices, bread/toast, butter jam, hot drinks, fruits and yoghurt.
Others reviews had complained about the room being cold, but I found the bedroom too hot and had to turn the radiator down, however the breakfast room was colkd in the morning, so bring a warm fleece!
The small bedroom was clean and a towel, a sachet of shampoo and soap was provided per person, the shower had hot water but I found it difficult to shower at a consistent temperature.
So as a basic hotel it worked, nothing fancy, not bad if on a budget?
