Definitlty worth the trip! Place full of surprises and different from anything I'v seen in my life. Recomend also the "Valle de las Rocas" and "canyon da Anaconda". Very good vibes in this place!!
Bring sunglasses because of the high reflectivity.

No words can describe this amazing place. Its huge but not really crowded. Make sure to bring some toys with you and your cameras. I only spent 1 day but i would suggest people to go for the 3 days tour. AMAZING

This could be the Bolivian Macchu Picchu once it is properly developed. Absolutely breathtaking, mystical and not as crowded although we went in June when it is low season.

We did a 3-day tour and where totally amazed by the landscape. With the right tour company this must be an exceptional experience!

Unfortunately we picked the wrong company. Don't go with Expediciones Huracan! Louis is telling mostly lies to sell the tour. You won't get what he promises you! Neither an English speaking guide nor a double room nor even okay food. The car was also shitty (revenue though he showed us a good one before) so our driver was worried about it all the time.

We booked a reverse tour and startet in the south. Our driver (cannot be called a guide) was hardly talking and we did not know what was happening next. Due to a road blockage we were delayed and he was driving like crazy. After 30 min he already explained to us that the hostel would cost 30BS more even though Louis told us that we do not have extra costs. Since we didn't want to pay we ended up at a different location than planned and stayed in a dorm. Nothing was planned in advance! BTW we had only very short breaks in between to really enjoy the landscape.

The next day we got up at 5 to start early. We went to the hot springs etc. and ended up in Uyuni at 3pm to leave some guys there. And then suddenly we were brought to a hostal in Uyuni to stay in a dorm again (instead of promised double) although we were supposed to stay in the salar. Nobody even told us that the schedule was changed. And why do we get up so early to be back at 3?! We refused to stay in the dorm so we finally got separate rooms. The hostel was OK except that water stopped working and nobody was there to take care. Probably to save some money we ended up having dinner at a chicken snack shop (cannot call it a restaurant) where we could not even choose what to drink. In Bolivia we had good food for very little money but this was really bad!

The next day the lady wanted to pick us up from the hostel to bring us to the breakfast at 9am. At 9:30 she was still not there and we tried to call the agency. Nobody picked up so we walked to the agency where we couldn't find someone except for tourists. About 10 min later (10:40) the lady came, did not excuse her delay, but just told us we will have breakfast in the hostel. So we went back and she brought some rolls, jam, cheese, ham (not even the street dogs wanted to eat it). So we sat in a cold room without window and a dirty mattress! Since she was so late we had 15 min to finish and come back to the office where we afterwards waited 45 min to start the tour with one hour delay. That day we had a nicer driver, but also not English speaking, but the car was even worse.
