Bokissa is a true Gem! It was exactly what we were looking for in a family holiday. It felt like we were the only ones on the Island. The best shallow reef and coral structure I have ever snorkled over. Our hosts Kevin and Ilene took great care of us and are great assetts to the Island community there. The set meals for lunch and dinner was first class dining and we did not go hungry. We are going back soon!

Room tip: Best ocean views and all you hear is nature around you!

We are just back from a too short holiday of 7 nights in this Brilliant Resort. It was the first time we had been away with our family including our 7 and 5 year old grandchildren. You could not find a friendlier more welcoming place to stay. Our grandchildren were made to feel very important and welcome by all the staff. Eileen and Kevin were very attentive without intruding.

The accommodation was perfect for our group, having Fales 14A and 14B interconnected and open which enabled the adults to sit in the lounge in 1 room when the boys were asleep next door.

The meals were wonderful, beautifully presented and as tasty as. Unfortunately we were not able to enjoy a lobster dinner but Kevin did promise at least one on our next visit.

It was great to snorkel straight off the beach and enjoy the different coral forms and variety of fish. Both grandchildren really took to snorkelling and spent a great deal of time exploring the waters. We also found out that our 5year old grandson can talk underwater.

The beach was wonderful for exploring, finding different shells and pieces of coral as well as the very many hermit crabs.

A huge pool meant that you did not feel crowded. Most of the time we were the sole occupants which the boys enjoyed and by the end of the week their swimming ability had improved so much they were doing forward and backward somersaults.

We are already looking at dates for next year for 1 or 2 more visits, which is something that we have never done before. Previously we have said on to the next island. That is definitely not the case after our Bokissa Experience.

May I add , others have said that this is not a suitable resort for children. We absolutely do NOT agree. This was an ideal place for our 7 and 5 year olds. Plenty of water activities, places to explore with the family, wonderful things to find and share with family and wind down and relax.

Room tip: For multi generational groups Fales 14A and B are perfect

We eloped to bokissa for a secluded getaway and wedding ceremony on a beach which was organised by the resort and went off perfectly, thanks Jonah! We were only there for a week and enjoyed the sun and hospitalility and seclusion. Not a resort for a family with young children because they will soon get bored. It's a resort for adults who want to switch off from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Room tip: Book the spa rooms at an extra cost

Thanks Kev and Eileen for another great stay on the island. The vibe is always friendly and relaxing. Snorkeling straight in front of our fale was wonderful- the water is soooo clear. Next time I'll get the lobster hopefully (and there will be a next time!)

8 days of pleasure in paradise. Crystal clear water with stunning coral, meters from the front door. Excellent food, outstanding service, in a relaxed quiet surroundings. No crowds, TV , radio. Leave it all behind and completely relax. Warm clear seas provide stunning snorkelling, and swimming. I enjoyed a great day fishing with guide Lambi ,and a nice yellowfin tuna, which the chef served as sashimi on return. We will be returning.
