I had oxtail and dumplings, I wasn't happy. There wasn't enough gravy to eat the dumplings with and that was disappointing, also Maun is the beef 'country', so I expect a plate full of meat. The host was good but the food let him down.

Great ambiance, live music or poetry on some days. Much time spent on the detail of the interior and i loved it. Awesome food and good service. The owner is AMAZEBALLS!
visited the place in December 2017. was one of the few places in Maun that was welcoming, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. On the 31st of december they let us stay within the compound because we couldnt find a child friendly place to usher...the new year at. even though they were closed. and we chilled there for hoursMore
If you are looking for a cultural experience whilst tasting a pure Setswana-traditional meal, kana Kang is the place to go! An evening st Kana Jang is a great experience for locals and tourists alike. We live in Maun and find that bringing our guests...from outside to Kana Jang, it is an evening well-spent! Our host for the evening was a well-known Poet who walked us through the whole experience. I’ll be back! Keep up the great food, service and ambiance.More
This is more than a restaurant. There is art and poetry as well. On the evening we had a business dinner here with a party of twelve, there was a poetry-reading event taking place outside, which we enjoyed taking part in. The dishes were delicious...and nicely presented, and the staff were wonderful. This is a place well worth visiting.More
The location is nice, but only 4 options for dinner where available, and steak was not one of them, which is strange in a country like Botswana. I tried fish, which was overkooked. Gin and Tonic was not available, the gin bottle was there, but...empty.More
Unexpectedly came across this charming little cafe while visiting the museum. Arty, eclectic, African and very friendly I would highly recommend a visit. Allow yourselves time for relaxing as this is not a fast food establishment. The menu was simple and varied. Breakfast items, sandwiches...and pastries, as well as a few simple salads and hot dishes. Great for lunch. Service was warm and welcoming.More
My wife and I met a friend here for a coffee, it was a lovely place with a great vibe to it. We didnt order any food however they server hot and cold meals too...
Situated at the museum it is an interesting place. They cater for different taste buds in Maun. It can just be very hot in the summer months. I love the salads here!
We went over the Christmas break (2016) and loved the atmosphere. Sadly, the museum was closed, so we weren't able to see it. The staff were very polite and pleasant. However, the restaurant serves traditional food only, and my husband being a fussy eater, we...only had drinks there and went elsewhere for food. I'd definitely recommend it and will go back.More
There really is no place like it in Maun, its artsy, they serve local cuisine and the stuff is really friendly.
