“Uncredible scenery”

We flew into the delta from Maun to Moremi Crossing Lodge in April 2011. On the flights to/from the delta we saw herds of giraffes and elephants. The scenery was quite unreal like a documentary on telly. We enjoyed our two boat tours, watching the unbelievable clear sky drinking a glass wine after dinner as well as sitting at the lodge and watching animals and nature. I highly can recommend traveling to the delta. My friend who traveled first time to africa fall in love with the continent after our trip through Botsuana.

A must do for adventurous travellers. We did an overnight mokoro trip into the Okavango Delta and to hear the animals at night, the walk on the island and even our guide were amazing.

This is a magical part of the world.
The birdlife is stunning, elephants walking down to drink, boat rides on the crystal clear waters. You can camp, stay in expensive lodges or go on walking and mokoro safari.

Its all there once you get to Maun just ask around town and you will have the pick. Flights over the delta are expensive but a once in a lifetime experience if you can afford it.

Drotskies and Xaro awesome - Birdlife fantastic - incl. Pel's! Boat trips from Xaro's an absolute highlight. Bush walks also great there. Campsite at Drotskies the best I have stayed in in Southern Africa.

The animals, birds and fish in their natural habitats were inspiring and wonderful. Provides you with a new perspective on the world and all it has to offer.
