8 of us spent 4 nights and 5 days on the river with Jacques' amazing crew. It was the most fantastic experience in every way, we were well looked after, food was excellent, camps were outstanding and game viewing was superb. It was worth every cent and I would highly recommend it. Well done Jacques, your crew has done you proud!!

More wildlife in one trip you will not see. WOW. Kasane is just bursting with wildlife.

You have to take the boat ride to truly experience this magic

Stayed at the Okavango River Lodge and Backpackers which was fantastic, especially for backpackers. clean, comfortable, and very affordable. Spent $120 USD for 6 nights in a private tent, all my food and drinks, and an overnight mokoro safari. The safari was great but since I went during the rainy season I definitely needed the zoom on my camera as the animals don't come as close to the usual watering holes. We saw zebras, giraffes, birds, hippos, a few spiders, etc. Set up our tents, attempted to start a campfire which our guide had to fix, went on a two hour hike, and had hot dogs and marshmellows for dinner. Another, longer hike the next morning, more hotdogs, and then the mokoro trip back to the boat landing. We had some extra time before the regular boat picked us up so we were able to spend some time in the little village visiting with the natives and trying some kind of local banana wine/liquor/beer drink.
