Stayed three days for business and that was torture....Rooms are absolutely dirty, and that goes for the entire hotel to be fair. Meet and greet is better with people from outer space I would imagine because there is a lack of the ability to communicate. From the meet and greet it went down hill and I could not wait to depart. The food is poor, and so is the service.
The swimming pool is dirty and one of the two is without water. The wifi is pretty much non existing and that is probably so you cannot book another hotel during your stay.
I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone, sorry....

Room Tip: A different hotel is the best option....

We arrived in the early hours of the morning and were quickly shown to our rooms by a very enthusiastic gentleman. The enthusiasm didn't catch on when he showed us our ground floor rooms. The rooms were in need of a good scrub with dust on all surfaces. The furniture and assorted shelving looks to have been added as an afterthought over many years. To be fair the beds and bedding were clean and comfortable but the morning showed several large and nearly indestructible ants roaming the room and a column of tiny ants taking ownership of the bathroom. The taps, walls, shower curtain and drain covers could all do with thorough scrubbing.

The aircon in our room was noisy but very effective, inlike our friends next door whose aircon only made noise.

Breakfast was fine, the dining room is huge and looks like it used to be a weddding reception or banquetting hall but only the central few tables were kept clean now, the others being covered in dust again. Breakfast consisted of a selection of fruit smoothies, tea and/or coffee satchets and a one egg omelette which was nice. The bread rolls were fresh and the block of goats cheese, packs of fig and strawberry jam and butter were all sound. Quick and friendly service but we were the only ones in there...

Be carefull moving around the hotel as many of the glass doors don't quite fit the doorways and scrape noisily on the tiled floor. Also, don't always assume that if it says "push" on the door, thats what you need to do to get through...

I think this hotel would benefit from a lick of paint and the attentions of a carpenter//janitor to improve first impressions, let alne bring the place back up to any sort of standard. I guess that as the port facilities and oil refineries built up around the area, the holiday trade diminshed and the hotel became a stop over for merchent seamen waiting to board or coming off ships in the port.

Room Tip: Different hotel!

I came here at 3am in the morning and I found the staff pretty friendly despite the basic lack of English. I was only here whilst joining a vessel in the Suez canal and ended up spending 3 very long days here. The food was very basic but edible and the pools wasn't so bad. The best bit as pointed out was the free Wi-Fi which felt like a luxury looking at the surrounding area which was a wreck to say the least. The 'beach' nearby is polluted with rubbish and glass, best to steer clear if you can.

...arrived 5 o'clock in the morning.and did not need any further light to see that this 'hotel' has passed its best days long time ago.
There is a good WiFi conn. and a (verynoisy)airco so no complaints about that.
I could even still have a "breakfast" with the cucarachas passing by in the restaurant.
Shower is not inviting as the bathtub still has the remains of my predecessors........
It would pay off if it would be completely refurbished by a well known/respected hotel organisation as the location is not bad at all.
There are on/off signers for vessels which pass the Suez Canal so customers whole year by.
I don'y need a 4 star hotel but just a decent stay would be nice...
I will have to stay a couple of days more then initially planned:I'lldefinately search for something else.

tired old {1960`s or 70`s} seaside motel ,rooms are ok but can be noisy near reception, staff seem to shout a lot at night,
Grounds are very tired and partly delapidated with what could be a nice beach, just a shame no-one seems to care about the rubbish and broken glass on it,a real hazard for children.
Old salt water swimming pool ,which is high sided in the deep end and not enough ladders for safety
You will be asked for tips even when just passing staff on the stairs!
Restaurant dinner, passable if your hungry enough.
Breakfast OK.
Nice enough view from room .
Stayed one night and moved ASAP
Certainly no palace.
Very few decent hotels listed this end of Red Sea,could be a problem if your expectations are higher than backpacker accomadation.
