My boyfriend and I had such a wonderful weekend getaway! We're both studying abroad for the semester and needed to be in a different environment for a while and this place was perfect! Amazing food and hospitality! The horses are well taken care of and we loved seeing them just roam around freely! The view from the dining area is absolutely amazing as well! We recommend this place to anyone! Thanks so much Elodie! xoxo

Visiting the Green Ranch was the highlight of my 5 month stay in Kumasi. Elodie has created a beautiful, serene environment for relaxation and engaging conversation. Her food is by far the best to be had anywhere near Lake Bosomtwe, and the view of the lake from her upper deck restaurant is incredible. The rooms are very nice, beautifully decorated with comfortable beds, but also affordable. I wish I could come back here every weekend.

Thank you, Elodie - your vision and hard work to create something special, quiet, green, intriguing and centered around horses and nature has resulted in all that and more.

Our visit to the Green Ranch was the highlight of a 3 week trip to West Africa. Relaxing, peaceful, good food, exceptional talk.

Will never forget an exciting all-day ride around the lake. (less experienced riders would love the shorter rides, too!)

Lovely rooms. The attention to detail, simple little touches made it all just right. Even board games and books on the deck.

A refreshing interpretation of hospitality, entertainment and friendship. Well done!

This was the most relaxing and beautiful place I visitied in Ghana. The green ranch family is welcoming everybody warmly and trying to make the nicest days u aver had!
I enjoyed the nature, swiming in the lake, going for a ride, doing walks and getting up at sunrise with this wonderful sounds and view!
If u need busy holidays don't stay too long( 1-2 days), because at the lake there is nature, nature and relaxation, if u want to relax--perfect! (especially for volunteers, to take some days off and have some contact to a french woman)

Spent the weekend at Green Lake and it was the highlight of my trip to Ghana. I was in Kumasi for one month doing work and decided to take the short taxi ride to Elodine's and that was one of the best decisions I have made.
The food is a breath of fresh air from the fufu and banku, not to mention the breathtaking views while you eat and drink (wine or beer). We did the full ten hour trip around the lake and although not for the faint of heart, it is very much worth it. We saw villages, people and animals in ways you cannot any other way.
The rooms are clean, creative and comfortable and the horses are well tempered and clearly loved. If you have some time, it is well worth the trip!
