Loved the place set in the wilderness. The staff was luke warm, got some options of Indian food which was a surprise. Do not miss crescent island if going to this place. All kinds of wild life is found inside the resort, water buck, monkeys, baboons and at times hippos. We saw one at the pier!

We took the 'luxury' pack, since it didn't cost that much more in low season. It was the best hotel we slept in during our stay in Kenya. The tents are placed in beautiful surroundings, they are standing on poles in a small swamp at the side of the lake where waterbucks and special birds look for food. You can sit on your terrace and enjoy the view. The interior of the tent is very nice, just like out of a movie.

The all-round service was excellent, they bring hot-water bottles, bathrobes, apples and little chocolates to your room. They truly cater to your needs, for example the restaurant stayed open until we were able to come. The food was very good (ate at the restaurant, not at buffet), there's always a 3-course menu with different options for you to pick from. The waiter was very friendly and informative.

The hotel also offers boat rides on the lake, you can see hippos, special birds, and wildlife on the little island in the lake. Not so far from the hotel, there is Hell's Gate Park. Here you can ride with your bycicle through the park and see the animals from up close. There is also a sort of ravine with flash floods you can walk through (for the daredevils ;))

We only stayed for 2 nights since we had a busy schedule but we loved it and if we go back to Kenya, this will definitily be a stop on our list.

Room Tip: Pick the luxurious tent if your budget allows it, it is placed in a uniquely beautiful setting.

I had stayed for one night at the club & repent for that, minimum 2 nights is must to experience the marvelous club. Location of the club is right on the lake Naivasha. It has superb lawn kind of board walk to see the lake. Mr.Kamal was very helpful to arrange for the veg food, we wanted to drink butter milk & within no time he arranged for the same, for dinner too took good care of us, hats off to him. Overall our stay was enriching & the biggest surprise was too watch giant hippos in the club lawn itself. Highly recommended for the family with young kids

We stayed one night on our way back from Nakuru to break up the trip back to Nairobi. We took the 2 bedroom cottage close to the lakes edge ... nice spot, good view, privacy ... a little run down though, very creaky and a leaky shower. Still the bed was comfortable and large and we all slept well. We had to ask for cushions to make the daybed comfortable so we could sit and enjoy the view and for the guards to light the fire pit ... for the "Presidential Suite" we expected the service to be top notch. However, the real let down for this place is the food .... the buffet was scarce .. admittedly, its low season, but still the offering was very average at both dinner and breakfast .. we decided to head back to Nairobi early and miss the buffet lunch. The staff were friendly and helpful - the service was good. The spa tent is located right next to the pool area, which if it was being used and enjoyed as it should be (its empty at the moment), you wouldn't really enjoy a relaxing and quiet massage. Suggested they should move it away from the noisy areas....and the childrens facilities are almost non existent. The old run down metal play equipment should be removed entirely or replaced with wooden equipment, easily made by a tradesperson and would be more keeping with the amazing view and environment. However, the garden area is expansive and beautiful, so our children thoroughly enjoyed kicking the ball around. A hidden gem ... go to the Kiboko Luxury Tented Camp on the waters edge, within the Country Clubs grounds.. in theory a separate hotel but under the same group. We enjoyed sitting in the bar/dining area watching the birdlife ... if we were to come back it would be to the Tented Camp, sadly not the Country Club.

Room Tip: We stayed in the 2 bedroom cottage - C1/C2 billed as the Presidential Suite .. which its not really...

We stayed here for one night, feels truly like a gymkhana with a huge lawn where you can spot wild life graze and where lunch is served. The lunch was simply amazing and setting really beutiful...the dinner was quite disappointing in terms of choice of food and taste. The rooms were clean, the mattress i feel could have been changed as i could feel the springs but apart from that the place was picture perfect. We explored the tented camps...a very special place and once should stay there almost felt like i was about to meet Dr. Livingstone. The only other gripe i had was they were repairing the swimming pool and we could not use it. But the kids enjoyed the trampoline. There are rangers in the night to escort you to your room as hippos come to graze on the grounds.

Room Tip: ask for rooms nearer to main building.

We went there for a weekend holiday. We booked a cottage for two nights, they were near the swimming pool and hence there was a lot of noise from the kids playing there
.
The cottages needed re-furbishing as we could see chipped paints and the mattresses weren't comfortable. The whole room could do a re-decor to give it more of a nice feel. Unfortunately our room hadn't been cleaned properly prior to check-in. I felt the gardens needed a bit more of landscaping to give country lodge feel.

The dining room had a true country club feel and the food was adequate. They made special food for us as we were vegetarians. I felt the price for the lodge is too expensive compared to the service and facilities it has. It would be okay for a one night stay.

Room Tip: Go for the Kiboko Luxury Camp, it is on the same grouds as Naivasha Country Club. We just went to se...
