We stayed at the LNCC for 1 night (2 rooms) during our Kenya Safari. It was a good beginning with a nice welcome drink as is customary with most of the hotels in Kenya. The food was decent, so was the room. It wasn't the greatest of the rooms I have stayed in so far, but was quite comfortable. TV had only 12 channels, but that is pardonable (who goes on a safari to watch TV).
Most of the staff at the hotel were friendly, and the overall service very good. Only problem I had with the service was that one of the rooms had no creamers, and upon requesting were told that the hotel was out of creamers. This would have been no problem, and I requested if I could have a small jar of milk instead to put in my tea. I was told that I would be charged for it (really!! it's not my problem that you have run out of creamers that you provide complimentary).
Another problem was that the WiFi was not working in either of our rooms after the initial few minutes (room 42 and 44), however they said we could use it in the lobby which was OK with us since we only wanted to get in touch with family back home.
The phone in the room 42 didn't work. I informed reception about that at around 3 in the afternoon, and was told it would be fixed by evening, which wasn't. As a result, I had to go the other room to call and ask reception for mosquito repellent at night. It can be tricky because there are hippos grazing in the lawn in front of your rooms at night. (The mosquito repellent was not sent within 20-30 mins, and I had to go again to room 44 to call the reception, after which it was sent in a few minutes.
Overall, it is a decent property (albeit ageing a bit) offering variety of things to do (at a charge) and pretty outdoors with some animals like zebras and camels. People you meet are always smiling, although service in regards to meeting the guest's basic necessities needs a lot of improvement.

We stayed for two nights at the country club and found it extremely comfortable, in a great location on Lake Naivasha and with friendly staff. The rooms were a short walk from the main complex and featured verandas where you could sit and look at the lake a few hundred metres away and enjoy the deer, monkeys and other wildlife that is in abundance in the beautiful grounds. The wifi didn't quite stretch to these further away rooms but was fine on the lawn and in the main buildings. At night you will need security to escort you to and from your room as the local, very territorial hippos like to graze on the property. Otherwise, the rooms were of a moderate to large size with clean bathrooms and minibars. Breakfast and dinner were in the main dining room and were mostly buffet syle. The restaurant and bar staff were always up for a chat and really made our stay enjoyable. Lake cruises and the township of Naivasha are only a short drive away.

Room Tip: The further away from the main complex, the less powerful the wifi signal...if that's important...

Stayed at the deluxe Rm18. The room is very basic - no air conditioner, uncarpeted & old furniture. Stayed for two nights. The only source of entertainment is your TV in the room which has only 12 channels, not HD, & only one local channel. The only animals you will get to see is one or two hippos at the kiboko luxury (if you are lucky), and a bunch of animals that they have domesticated which includes two zebras, 1wildebeast, and some waterbucks.
The food quality was poor & the pool is non-functional. The hotel needs a lot of renovation & modernization. What they call children's playground is an expansive ground with a trampoline - I wouldn't advise one to visit with children as they would get bored to death.
They also have public functions at the place on the grounds close to some rooms so it may not be an ideal place if one is looking for privacy.

Room Tip: Take the deluxe rooms from nos. 15. They are the only ones with concrete walls & away from ppl.

but just a couple changes/updates to rooms (mostly the bathrooms) would make this an excellent property. I did see a few times that the frontdesk staff were overwhelmed too.

That being said, this is definitely on the tourist (read: group tour) trail, so they do get inundated from time to time.

Overall though, the possibility of hippo viewing, boat rides on the lake, and wildebeest, zebra, and waterbuck mowing the lawn, and the grounds themselves make this a spot worth staying at. There are also (and this is special for Kenya) several good hiking areas around the lake that are easy half-days from the property. Nice for a stop to or from the Mara.

Located at the shores of Lake Naivasha, with beautiful and extensive gardens playing host to a herd of Water Buck, couple of zebras, troop of monkeys, hippopotami at night and many water birds, it is indeed a glorious spot. As one of the older resorts around Lake Naivasha, it is showing its age. The rooms (in the main section of hotel) needs major refurbishment. In my room there was no hot water and TV and some plug points weren't working the first night. The tented camp at the lake edge seems in far better condition. The buffet meals could be improved in terms of quality and variety. Given its prime idyllic location, I hope the owners will make the necessary improvements to its facilities and meal services to realize the hotel's full potential. The staff were welcoming and helpful.
