The rooms are exquisitely decorated. The service and friendliness of all the staff is fantastic. Thanks to Cathleen and Nico (the chef) for baking a DELICIOUS cheese cake to surprise my girl friend. It made the entire weekend a truly special occasion.

If you want a place where you can feel both at home and totally pampered this is the place for you ;)

We came for one night but stayed for three. That's how wonderful, relaxing, clean and welcoming is this charming abode on a very interesting street in the historic town of Graaf Reinet, gateway to South Africa's Karoo heartland. After hours and hours of a long, hot drive in the semi-desert country, to stop here could not have been a better choice. As four of us dusted off, wonderful chilled cocktails were served before we even enquired about room availablity. We found the service and friendliness of Cathleen and her team some of the best we have enjoyed in many countries around the world. With a wonderful menu, this place makes you feel comfortable and happy to stay another day. And another

We had such a brilliant stay at Aa'Qtansisi in July 2013. Everything about it was just perfect. The evening we arrived (having seen an advert for the B&B in the information centre in Graaff Reinet) there was a wonderful aroma emanating from the kitchen so we decided there and then, to have dinner 'in' and not go looking for a restaurant. What a delicious meal it was! We were thrilled that we had made the right choice. In fact, every meal was a delight - the attention to detail was stunning.
The picture in the information had appealed to me and I was not disappointed as the decor in our rooms (and throughout the B&B) was ethnically beautiful and so different from the usual run of the mill. The owners have put so much effort, thought and love into their home and I enjoyed looking at their collections of china, fabrics and memorabilia. The garden, too, was a delight.
I cannot recommend it highly enough.

I've been staying at Aa'Qtansisi with my overseas customers (Dutch) for years now and it has always been great. It is a very neet and tidy guesthouse with excellent service and their dinner is delicious.......Hans Pot, tourguide De Kaap Reizen.

The last 2 nights we used a beautiful bedroom here with a large comfortable bath. Our children had a separate room with single beds. We loved it. Both rooms were beautifully decorated, each with their own styles. The same can be said for the rest of the guesthouse and garden. We also had a very tasteful dinner prepared by their chef and a complete breakfast. We are doing a trip in the beautiful South Africa and these nights were like coming home. Thanks to the kind and good staff. We recommend it to everyone. Henri, Odette and the children Vincent & Annelieve
