This is a deceptively large house with magnificent views over the harbour of Mossel Bay. Built on a hillside it is much bigger at the back than it appears from the road. The entrance hall is magnificent! Plants, a water feature and wonderful fittings. The dining area has fantastic views. The rooms are large, beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. We were met by the owner Piet, who is a lovely man. He was very knowledgeable, approachable and very helpful. He recommended exactly the right restaurants for the food we wanted to experience! The dining room like the whole establishment, was also very clean, furnished with quality fittings and we enjoyed excellent breakfasts! We loved photographing the many colourful birds which were feeding on Palm Olives just outside our bedroom window. The perfect hide! Heather who seemed to run the place couldn't have been more helpful in assisting us with directions and onward bookings. It was a bit windy when we were there so we didn't use the outside facilities, but there is a lovely pool and bar-b-q area in the grounds. Undercover parking is provided. Mossel Bay felt peaceful and safe. We loved it and we'll stay there next time, without a doubt!
