This place is small and apart from some really nice little sharks there's not much to do or see. Could be something extraordinary if well managed, but I hate to say that at the moment there's no need to visit...

I really hate to write bad reviews but this is another one that you should just avoid. I would like to say that it is worthwhile but if you really want to learn about sharks and marine life, go to Sea World or Discovery Cove. You will have much more fun and really be educated. This is a research facility so unless you're a marine biologist you won't get much out of it. I will write about Discovery Cove ( Orlando) in another review.

“Needs improving”

not greatly impressed the actual shark enclosure was really small could do with a good revamp. A pickled hammerhead was what i liked best. Just needs more exhibits to spark more of a feel about the place

“Educational”

Bear in mind this is a research facility and not an aquarium. The australian exchange students were extremely clued up and patient with answering all of the questions. Unfortuanetly with the floods the facility was damaged and thus can only house small sharks and nurseries. Suggest you visit at feeding time which is 15h00. Awesome to see. If you are into preserving the environment, then support them, they do good work
