“Amazing”

Wow is all I can say. Easily the most breathtaking course in South Africa and possibly the world. 18 holes each with sweeping 180 degree sea views. It is tough especially if the wind is up as there is fynbos all around to gobble up balls but this is a course you have to play at least once in your life. The 19th hole is fantastic as well with a beautiful club house, great change rooms and best of all a brilliant place to have a cold one after the round.

“Extremely nice surrounding....besides the course”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 April 2013

We played Pinnacle Point in March 2013 and enjoyed it very much. Starting form the friendliness of the people, the accommodation and for sure every hole was beautiful in its scenery. We were glad having a cart - walking is not an option- many up and downs and partly quite large distances to the next hole.
Definitely worth to visit & play :-)

“So cool view!!~!”

Brilliant for reach only :) I was feeling like a fly in front of golf players. At least from their view to me. But you can't avoid a place - the trail is crossing these golf fields.

“Stunning views and some tight fairways”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 March 2013

I played Pinnacle point on a sunny afternoon in early March. I had no idea the complex included a resort and the drive through to the club house was a good start. The clubhouse on 2 levels has some great views, a few bar areas and some excellent food and drink at very reasonable South african prices.
The locker rooms were comfortable with showers, towels and locking lockers. and a good stocked Pro shop and halfway house downstairs after the 9th.
As for the golf - off the Green Tees - it is 2,800 metres on the front 9 (called Oyster nine) and almost 3,000 metres on the back 9 and a symetrical Par 72.
Initially the fairways look tight, and the greens in difficult positions with water, cliffs and the sea close by. However, as you play the course as long as you concentrate shot by shot it is a tough, but fair test of golf. There are yardage markers around to give you good information - after I had remembered to add 10% to get the yardage!
Hole 7 - a 125 yard Par 3 into the wind and straight at the sea - was stunning; as was the 8th and the 9th. when I played the wind was there but not strong hence I scored well - but I can imagine (like a links course back in the UK), the wind is a great defense for the course and needs to be blowing.
I used a buggy and was glad of that as it is quite long, and some climbs and falls between Greens\ Tees to fit the course in.
Well worth a visit and I will go again when in South Africa.

“Group Golf Outing”

Stunning views. Just lovely. Walking is not an option other than on a photo shoot. Excellent amenities and surprisingly cheaper beverages than my local club. A bonus. Well worth a visit.
