We spent 3 nights in this amazing place, and we were afraid it would spoil us. The tents were so luxurious, the furnishings beautiful, everything clean. Food was excellent. Animals wandered about: vervet monkeys, bushbuck. Our guide, Asheri, was knowledgeable and helped us find a variety of birds & game on both day and night drives. He also took us to a Maasai boma, where we interacted with the women & children while he acted as interpreter.
The only glitch was on our arrival the first day, when the tent we requested, nearest to the dining hall (due to mobility issues), was still occupied, and it took several hours before that guest checked out, although we were quite tired & needed to lie down. We felt the manager could have been more proactive in solving the problem. Otherwise, this was a wonderful, magical start to our 3 week Tanzanian safari.More
