i have been to moshi twice. the last time i stayed at the rafiki backpackers. it is a really nice hostel. you gonna meet a lot of travelers there. it is located in a quiet neighborhood. i felt really comfortable there. they have a nightguard so even at night you dont need to worry.

they offer a löot of tours and with no matter which question you have on trips and tours they were superfriendly. with offering information about what to do and about the local get arround.

the breakfast was always good. its not included but therefor you have free laundry service and free internet. they even pick you up from town and take you to the hostel. and right across the street they have a really nice bar were you also can meet a lot of travellers from all over the globe. have some drinks at night or get dinner.

you can choose between different rooms from single, double dorm or even for low budget travellers you can sleep in tents.

i can definately recommend to stay there. you will not regret it.

Perfect place to spend your time being in north of tanzania! Based in wonderful Moshi and in a peaceful area, just crossed to C Africa, the perfect place to have some food and chill out at night!
Rafiki backpackers is a nice, clean, warm place to stay, your safety is garanteed by a friendly guard the whole night and during the day the dada is always there for keeping everything clean, washing your cloths and to prepare tasteful breakfast!
Alfred & Freya, are always around and ready to answer all your questions about Moshi and possible trips!
There is everything you need, I have lived there for a few months! Clean, safe rooms all with mosquito nets and a lot of light! Big living room with tv, big kitchen and fridge!

We had a very nice hike to Kilimanjaro (Marangu Route) with Rafiki Backpackers!
Before our hike, all our equipment were checked by the guides to make sure that we were ready to meet the roof of Arfica. If we were missing something, they helped us to get additional gear.
The company provides good service, with great food and experienced guides that will take good care of you in the mountain!
